RESUME OF ANASTASIYA PONYATOVSKAYA

Ms. Ponyatovskaya had attended the Lucaium Ioganson attached to Russian Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg Russia for 4 years,
then attended the Academy of Arts in the Republic of Moldova for 5 years, which she accomplished
many facets of art techniques. Since becoming a member of the Moldova Union of Artists in 2004,
she has become widely revered for her unique style and imagination.

In an effort to expose her many talents, she participated in many art exhibitions including: Moldova,
Russia, Germany, Latvia, Malta, Gozo and Italy. To further her experiences she relocated to Malta
/Gozo, where she now continues her work and studies. Having seen the rich culture of the islands,
she finds Gozo /Malta/ very inspiring, and her works can be seen in various
businesses around Gozo.

Ms. Ponyatovskaya has strong desires to work in the interior design/decoration, including the
different media: Oil & Watercolor Painting, Batik, Bas-reliefs on wall, Wall covering, Icons,
stained glass objects and sculptures. In her art she wishes to rethink heritage & old traditions,
and bring new inspiration.

Naive art; like primordial (earliest), original traditional art in Batik & Painting give me a lot of
inspiration for new vision. There are 5 types of Batik, which came to Europe from ancient Indonesia.
It can be: cold Batik, hot Batik, or mixed, tie-dye, free-style. This is hand painting done on natural
Silk or Cotton.

Among the interior and exterior Bas-reliefs on walls, she enjoys showing Egyptian and Mayan style
images of the 3,000 B.C. era in a more imaginative way.

During her design of Icons she enjoys using 15th century egg tempera technology on antiquated wood.

Since 1998-2003 a student of the University of Arts in Chisinau, at the faculty Graphic art.

1991 - "Italy in children's opinion". Organizer: Center International "Amici  Scuola" (CIAS), Italy. The State Committee of public
education, Moscow. Three works in CIAS (in Rome). She was rewarded  with a diploma and a journey to Italy.
1992 - "Submarine fantasies". The Fourth International competition of children's creative work. Organizer: the Creative Union "AKVA"
of Donetsk's Fund of Culture (Ukraina) and the Word festival of representation of submarine word in Antyb (France). Was rewarded
with a diploma and a medal.
1993 - "Easter holidays''. Republican Olympiad of children's creative work. Won the 1st prize for Easter card. Kishinev.
2006 – Artperescope Calendar , was won a printing in calendar of international artist.

Anastasia Ponyatovskaya has graduated as an artist from the college in Sankt-Petersburg, Russia and Academy of art in Moldova. After joining the Union of Artists in 2004, she has become widely revered for her unique style and imagination and participated in many art exhibitions including: Moldova, UK, Russia, Germany, Latvia, Malta, Gozo and Italy.

Since 2005 Anastasia Ponyatovskaya has been living in Malta and she finds that this country is full
of legendary and beautiful places which are very inspiring for creations. She presents new original
art works in postmodernism fantasy /fairy tales/ styles. In her art she tries to rethink heritage & old traditions, and bring new inspiration in her work.

At the web page are some Maltese series which are united into one theme: ’’Malta in Fantasy’’. Maltese archipelago which fantasies became a favorite subject of her artistic creation works.

The Nymphs of Comino are inspired of magic aura of  Maltese islands and women beauty.
The works are made in oil paint and soft pastel.

Phantasmagoric creatures: Unicorns, Sirens, Mermaids, flying ships could be inhabited
on spellbound Islands.

The landscapes of this enchanting place in the middle of the warm gentle sea are full of bright colors and festively mood.

All items perfectly fit in interiors and can be a real treasure for any person who is interested in art.
